Overview

MoonPay is one of the world's leading crypto infrastructure companies — a payments layer that lets anyone buy, sell, and hold digital assets, serving 30M+ users across 180 countries. I joined as Senior Product Designer during a pivotal period: a rebrand in motion, new products launching from scratch, and the NFT market at its height.

Challenge

Two parallel problems. The rebrand needed translating from brand team to product — a new visual system that could actually work across digital touchpoints, not just brand decks. And the Creator Studio needed building from zero: new products, new audiences, new territory for the business.

Approach

On the site, twelve weeks of sprints to bring the new brand into a live build — homepage, content hub, news pages — with the transaction widget front and centre, which A/B testing had consistently shown drove the most conversions. On the product side, I designed an NFT Gallery: a lookup tool where users could type in their wallet address and see their entire NFT collection pulled from multiple networks in one place, with artwork used directly from artists including HAPE and P4SD.

Outcome

Transaction volume increased tenfold with the new site design. The company had a live baseline of the refreshed brand and an updated design system to build from. The NFT Gallery launched as one of several 0–1 products from the Creator Studio during this period.
